户尔柏林空间很荣幸为您呈现与艺术家伊莎贝拉·弗恩凯斯首次合作的个展,「筑屋·Build Me a House」。 在弗恩凯斯的多媒体作品中,这位日本出生的法裔德国艺术家探讨了身体的亲密关系、数字关系与社会结构脆弱性等问题。此次展览将汇集艺术家全新的装置、声音、行为,绘画及影像作品。展览的焦点是持续性行为装置作品,围绕着两个大型金属结构展开。它们既像穹顶,又与简陋的原始游牧住宅相似。凭借其笼子般的结构,强调了内部与外部空间之间的流动,渗透,囊括,庇护与禁锢。题为 Ataraxia,其名称来自于古希腊的哲学术语,意为 "平静的状态 "或 "灵魂不受干扰的宁静"。表演者以暗示居住、建筑和解构的行动激活装置,薄薄的织物覆盖着金属框架,影像被投射其上。石块围绕四周,表演者在其四周不断运动,结合装置客体本质中的游牧特性,都指向着事物的无常、短暂及可变,也昭示与探索着在波动变化中寻找自由。由 Anchoress 和 Tobias Textor 设计的声音场景,为这种沉浸式的多媒介体验扩展出了听觉维度。

在行为的同一个房间中,墙壁上安装了一系列位置可交替的黑白陶瓷球,让人联想到抽象的围棋竞技,同时暗示着灵活的无尽变化。弗恩凯斯的《失眠画》与 Ataraxia 中的装置结构及由表演者所演绎的持续而灵活交融的激活行为的编排产生共鸣。名为《红画》的新系列也被展出。这些图画来自于一种原始而私密的实践,"可视化了一个认知超载的时刻",在这个时刻,一个人的内在界限崩溃了,世界毫无阻碍地进入其中。展览的最后一个房间上演了一场数字与自然的会面。《真实在观者眼中》的影像在重达半吨并覆盖在画廊地面的土上循环播放。其中的图像网络来自于弗恩凯斯所记录的个人档案,如同视觉拼贴画,结合与覆盖了无数的图像,给观者以在模糊的流动、位移、干涉与打断中漂浮的感觉。

 

伊莎贝拉·弗恩凯斯 , 1988年出生于日本东京,现工作生活于德国柏林和杜塞尔多夫。

 

弗恩凯斯是一位使用多媒介工作的艺术家。作品形式包括视频、多媒体装置、表演和绘画。在其多层次作品中,她提出了物理和空间亲密性的问题,数字化对人际关系的影响,以及对应的社会传播模式的转变。

 

她的作品曾展出于维也纳艺术馆、汉诺威斯普伦博物馆、Abteiberg博物館、第十三届达卡当代艺术双年展以及位于杜塞尔多夫的Julia Stoschek收藏空间。她的行为近期在墨西哥Salon Acme、Kölnischen艺术协会、第十一届Manifesta、Akademie der Künste der Welt以及柏林现代艺术中心展出。她曾参与多个驻留项目,包括巴黎the Cité des Arts、达卡歌德学院;并获得Rheinlande 和Westfalen艺术协会、特拉维夫the Bronner驻留的资助。弗恩凯斯担任Berlin Masters Program的研究员,同时也是2021年柏林艺术学院学者。她在户尔空间柏林空间的首个展即将于2021年12月举办。
